Coto de Gomariz, Flower and the Bee 2022

Nestled by the River Avia in Spain's Ribeiro DO, Coto de Gomariz has set out on a mission to introduce native Galician grape varietis to the wider world. Their organic vineyards sit on shisteous, granitic, sandy soils; with steep slopes, tiny yields and a unique microclimate making this spot ideal for producing awesome wine. Flower and the Bee 2022 is made from 100% Souzão, a lesser-known red grape variety which produces deliciously refreshing, juicy wines. A nose of cherries, redcurrant and blueberry leads to well-integrated flavours of oak, vanilla and plum on the palate. A great wine to pair with lighter dishes, pastas or poultry.
